Behind the scenesEdit
Yoda is an Alternative Star Wars Saga character based on the canon character of the same name, who appeared in six out of the seven canon Star Wars films. The alternate universe version of the character was developed by Brandon Rhea for the novel Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One. Upon a rewrite of the novel, however, Yoda's introduction was pushed back to Star Wars: Episode II - The Princess of Ondos.
In previous drafts of The Chosen One, Yoda appeared as the Grand Master of the Jedi Order, communicating with Jedi High Council member Mace Windy when Windy investigated reports of a clone army on Kamino. With the revisions to the series, however, Yoda became the Head Master, while Windy took his place as the Grand Master.
