During the New Sith Wars, the Sith Brotherhood of Darkness operated an academy on Dathomir. It sat on the edge of a canyon that overlooked a number of rivers and forests.[1]
Centuries later, the academy had become a graveyard of Brotherhood of Darkness members who died on the grounds defending the fortress during the war; many skeletons remained on the grounds centuries after the war. As of 41 BBY, the academy had become a temple for the Order of the Sith Lords. The Dark Lord killed his master, Darth Plagueis, in the temple.[1]
