The Republic Ministry of Intelligence was a governmental agency in the Galactic Republic. The Ministry of Intelligence was responsible for gathering intelligence that affected the Republic from throughout the galaxy.[1]
In 22 BBY, Jedi Master Mace Windy discovered that a clone army was being created on Kamino to be used by the Republic. Windy believed that the Ministry of Intelligence was being manipulated by someone, as it had missed the existence of the clone army for nearly ten years.[1]
