Maoi Madakor was the female captain of the Galactic Republic ambassadorial starship Radiant VII. During the Invasion of Utapau, Maoi was assigned to transport Jedi Master Jard Dooku and Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi to Utapau where they would serve as ambassadors and meet with Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray in the hopes of ending the conflict. While the ship was docked with the Federation command ship, Gunray ordered the ambassadors to be assassinated, and also had the Radiant VII destroyed. The resulting explosion cost Maoi her life.[1]
