Deceived was the first cinematic trailer released for Star Wars: The Old Republic. The cinematic depicts the fall of the Jedi Temple during the Sacking of Coruscant, the pivotal event that led to the end of the Great Galactic War. The events of the trailer are also covered in the beginning of the novel Star Wars: The Old Republic: Deceived.
Deceived is a canon Star Wars story, but it is also considered canon in the Alternative Star Wars Saga by the Alternative Saga authors.
