The year 15,500 before the Battle of Yavin (BBY) was a period of time during the reign of the Galactic Republic. Fillorean served as the Republic's Supreme Chancellor at the time, and he co-founded the University of Coruscant with Borz'Math'oh, a Star Dragon, as a display of peace and enlightenment in the aftermath of the Duinuogwuin Conflict. The Order of the Jedi Bendu also constructed an early version of the lightsaber during this time.[1]
